We narrowly avoided disaster during this session, due to the incredible number of prickles found in the grass of the local park. Luckily there were some nice sandy patches and great logs in the bush where this gorgeous little girl – who was just two days short of her 1st birthday – could play with her mum, dad, and two dogs: Ace and Fallon.
We were lucky enough to visit Bridgetown and Manjimup during October this year, and absolutely loved our time there! It is an incredibly beautiful part of the world, with gorgeous rolling hills and serene forests.
We stayed at Sunnyhurst Chalets in Bridgetown, and the girls absolutely loved being able to feed the donkeys, sheep, chickens, and alpacas, but the highlight was brushing and walking the two ponies. We came back feeling very refreshed and relaxed, and will definitely be going back!
We also got to meet and photograph an awesome family whilst we were there, and we can’t think of many nicer locations than the spot we found just outside of Manjimup.
Just over three weeks ago Tristan along with Seng Mah from Venture Photography held the first Butterbomb Workshop.
It was awesome! Tristan really enjoyed the opportunity opportunity to show other photographers how we work and the feedback we have had has been very positive. We can’t wait to do it all again next year :)
If you missed out on the last workshop, and would like to be the first to hear about what we have planned in 2014, then please send an email to hello@butterbomb.com.au with the subject ‘Butterbomb Workshop.’
Here are some of our favourite shots from the afternoon and some behind the scenes photos can be found here. A massive thank you goes out to our wonderful models!
