Teaching Lexi how to ride a bike was our project over the school holidays. In all honesty, she wasn’t keen to learn, she loved her training wheels and hated the prospect of her bike feeling wobbly. However we persisted and dragged her out for at least five or ten minutes on most days, first on a home made ‘balance bike’ and then on her real bike with pedals. Some days it was about as fun as toilet training but it was all worth it in the end!
Here is the result:
We are really proud of her!
Tristan is chopping off his locks on Thursday in support of the Leukaemia Foundation as part of the World’s Greatest Shave. The Leukaemia Foundation raises money to support ongoing research to find better treatment for leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. The money raised is also used to support families during their treatment, by helping with transport, accommodation, and emotional support.
We would love any amount you can give to this great organisation (plus you get to see Tristan without any hair!) You can donate at the following link: http://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/tristancameron.
And the result?
A HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported the Leukaemia Foundation; your support means the world to so many families out there.
Oh what a difference a year makes! Wishing all the mums a day full of cuddles :)
