We narrowly avoided disaster during this session, due to the incredible number of prickles found in the grass of the local park. Luckily there were some nice sandy patches and great logs in the bush where this gorgeous little girl – who was just two days short of her 1st birthday – could play with her mum, dad, and two dogs: Ace and Fallon.
One of the lovely families that we photographed in Kings Park at the end of last year. Their daughter was 7 months old at the time, almost the same age as our Amelie, and there were a lot of similarities between them.
Just over three weeks ago Tristan along with Seng Mah from Venture Photography held the first Butterbomb Workshop.
It was awesome! Tristan really enjoyed the opportunity opportunity to show other photographers how we work and the feedback we have had has been very positive. We can’t wait to do it all again next year :)
If you missed out on the last workshop, and would like to be the first to hear about what we have planned in 2014, then please send an email to hello@butterbomb.com.au with the subject ‘Butterbomb Workshop.’
Here are some of our favourite shots from the afternoon and some behind the scenes photos can be found here. A massive thank you goes out to our wonderful models!
There is a grin on our faces as we remember this session. The 3 year old boy pictured below misheard his mum when she called Tristan “Mr Cameron” and he spent the rest of the session calling him “Mr Camera!” Meanwhile, his 5 year old sister wasn’t too keen on being photographed initially and, as a result, we got one of our favourite shots from this session. Can you guess which one it is? It is definitely a photo that will have to be pulled out at her 21st Birthday :)
